I had a very enriching learning experience with Syed, where we worked through advanced doctorate-level contents. The sessions were extremely well-structured and intuitive, making complex concepts much easier to understand. I particularly appreciated the clarity of explanations, the structured progression of topics, and the strong connection between theory and application. Additionally, we covered practical aspects such as hypothesis testing, interpretation of regression output, and how violations of OLS assumptions (like multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and heteroskedasticity) affect empirical results . Syed has been very helpful in helping me understanding and applying my module of econometrics. We had a series of discussions on topics, such as assumptions of OLS, the Gauss-Markov theorem, dummy variables in regression, checking models for goodness of fit, instrumental variables, two stage least squares etc. In conclusion i feel he is a very good teacher and would definitely recommend for anyone new or already doing econometrics.
